Short Bio: Author and speaker, Joshua Mazrin is Director of Evangelization for the Catholic Diocese of Venice in Florida. With a Masters in Theology, he has taught college-level theology courses. Joshua happens to be a huge theology nerd (and likes to share it!).
The Holy Spirit is my best friend, and I wouldn’t know Him if it weren’t for the Immaculata. I am a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a Bachelors and Masters in Theology currently working on a PhD in Systematic Theology at Ave Maria University. I also serve as Director of Evangelization for the Catholic Diocese of Venice in Florida.
Recently I have been involved with recording talks for Augustine Institute presents Lighthouse Catholic Media, writing theology curriculum for the Diocese of Brooklyn in New York, and out giving talks at conferences.
I have spoken at Diocesan-level conferences including Evangelization, Men’s conferences, Apologetics, and Scripture, as well as material for Catholic programs on iHeart Radio. Along with writing curriculum, I have taught theology courses, helped construct college graduate level theology courses and currently act as facilitator for them online.
In addition to these, I have experience in publishing and editing for a Mariological academic newsletter for an international organization I served with as the Secretariat.
Mary, the Holy Spirit, & You
This describes Mary’s unique relationship to the Holy Spirit and what that means for your own faith and spiritual life. Talk may be more academic or more experiential. Effectively outlines basic Marian theology, particularly Mary’s relationship to the Holy Spirit and how this fits into the context of our spirituality (asceticism and mysticism) – also a theological and personal promotion of Marian Consecration.
The Kingdom of God is at Hand: Evangelizing like Christ
This talk is an overview of Salvation History in the context of how Jesus has established our relationship with Him and how we go out to Evangelize in this light. The talk outlines Salvation History, which is the story of God’s covenants with man fulfilled in Jesus as the Everlasting Covenant. This provides the context for the Church Jesus has established, what our roles are, and what our relationship with Him can look like personally.
