Emily K Whiting comes to us from Northeast Ohio. She was born and raised in the Catholic Church but it wasn’t until college she grew to know Jesus on a deeply personal level, and not until early adulthood when she truly claimed the Catholic faith as her own.
Emily attended The Ohio State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications, with training in journalism and marketing. Public speaking and writing are Emily’s professional training. She uses these skills in the agriculture community, and now also for her ministry.
In her ministry writings and speaking, Emily shares real life, real love and real faith. Specifically, she is passionate about sharing the real love of Jesus Christ through her real life stories that have led to a deeper, richer faith. Her ultimate mission is to lead God’s people into a deepened relationship with Him by seeing them for who they are and loving them for who He created them to be. She is a student of St. John Paul II and his Theology of the Body, and infuses these truths in all her work.
Emily and her husband are beyond blessed with two beautiful children, another in heaven and a fourth on the way. Their eldest was born with many medical challenges and continues to teach her parents true faith as they have a front row seat to watch God perform miraculous healing. Emily jokingly tells her husband she wants 20 children. Or, is she joking?

Transform the World by First Transforming Yourself
As we discuss how to be ‘change agents’ in the world today, we often talk about the things we can do to improve the lives around us - feed the hungry, give to the poor, take care of the sick, etc. Those things are all very good. But, think of how much bigger an impact we could have if before we explore what we can do in the world, we explore who we are. In this session we will learn how to truly embrace who we are - the image bearers of God - so that when we go out to do positive things, we are able to make an exponential impact through our actions because we are clothed in the Love of Christ.
